Description:	The Peridocial Source Index (PERSI) is a comprehensive place, subject and surname index to articles on genealogy and local history compiled by the Allen County Public Library, Fort Wayne, Indiana, from over different 5000 periodicals. The index includes more than 1 million searchable citations, searchable by locality, title, name, date, subject and other elements of the record. Periodicals indexed are those written in English and French (Canada) since 1800. the collection also includes literature before 1800, but that is less complete.
