Daily Student
(IDS) in 1945. IDS first began publication
in 1867 as the Indiana Student, which changed to the
Indiana Daily Student in 1899 . The IDS celebrated its
140th year of publication in 2007.

the 1987 NCAA title in a championship game against
Syracuse. Hoosiers had a 30-4 record that year, and
the win was Coach Bob Knight's third NCAA title.
