• Type american literature and women in the first search box
• Select "subject" from the pull-down menu (on the left of the first search box)
• Scroll down to the "Search Limits" section of the screen
• Select "Blngtn - Main Library" from the Library pull-down menu
• Select "BOOKS" from the Format pull-down menu
• Click the search button

View the first record by clicking the display button. The words "women" and "american literature" appear somewhere in the subject field.

You could also try a Browse search for this subject. However, you would not be able to limit the search to books from the browse screen.
