Search the online library catalog

About 45% of the printed material held by the Lilly Library is cataloged in the Indiana University Libraries online catalog, IUCAT. Here are some tips for using IUCAT to search for materials related to Ian Fleming in the Lilly Library.

  • For the "select library" option, choose "Blmgtn-Lilly Library (B-LILLY)."
  • Searching for "Ian Fleming" as "author" will return the books that he wrote as well as the books that he owned - in other words, books that were once in his library that are now owned by the Lilly.
  • Searching for "Ian Fleming" as "subject" will return books about Fleming as well.
  • After conducting your search, choose an item to display the full record. On the red toolbar above the record, click "Change Display," then change the display from "Brief" to "Long." You will get more detailed cataloging information this way.
