4. Reviews of Assoicate Deans: report and discussion

   The BLFC Faculty Standards Committee has asked for some guidance on this:

   "16. As a general principle, the Elected Policy Committees of the deans 1.I. through 1.Q. shall establish Review procedures for departmental chairpersons and other officers of their unit who exercise significant discretionary authority. Procedures need not be uniform, but should be appropriate to the officers or offices being reviewed."

8. Amendment of Collection Development Committee official charge: discussion

   Working with the Constitution and ByLaws Committee, the CDC needs to amend standing charge #3, "Manage the general fund" because that duty now belongs to Cecile Jagodzinski. One possibility is to use some of the wording in charge #8: Recommend ways to ensure collection managers' input into the use of Fund 30 and also Fund 62 (Strategic Fund).
