Effective September 3, 2002, Junko Tanaka accepted the position of Acquisitions Coordinator , Technical Services/Acquisitions Division, Bloomington. Prior to accepting this position, Junko worked as a Cataloging Assistant, Subject and Area Librarians Council and also worked for the Leo R. Dowling International Center. She has a PhD in Language Education from Indiana University.
*Diana Hanson, Supervisor of Shelving and Searching Unit, CASD
Now that the move of microforms to Government Information, Microform, and Statistical Services is complete, Diana Hanson has moved into her new duties in Customer and Access Services. Diana now has responsibility for the stacks, searching, and ALF problem-solving activities. She can be reached at 855-3706.

*New Faces and Other Changes at IUPUI University Library
IUPUI University Library welcomes Ann O'Bryan and Edward Gonzalez as new librarians this year. Ms. O'Bryan comes to us from Indiana State University and is serving as the Cataloging Team Leader. Mr. Gonzalez is from the University of North Texas and has become a member of our Science, Engineering, Technology and Nursing Team.
Sally Neal and Kathleen Hanna have both moved from a Visiting Assistant Librarian position to an Assistant Librarian position. Ms. Neal is on the Science, Engineering, Technology and Nursing Team and Kathaleen is a member of the Digital Library and Professional Programs Teams.
Sonja Staum-Kuniej is working on a special project with the Indiana Humantities Council for a year. During this time, Steven Schmidt will be Acting Team Leader at the Herron Art Library. Mary Beth Minick will serve as Acting Access Team Leader for this year with Karen Janke as her Assistant who will be overseeing the Interlibrary Services activities.
Emily Dill and Julie Moline have both been appointed as Visiting Assistant Librarians. Ms. Dill will serve on the Professional Programs Team and Ms. Moline will be working on some instructional projects with Bill Orme, University College Team Leader.
