This meeting builds upon a series of ongoing discussions this semester on diversity and intolerance among IUB students and faculty. We hope to continue to build community among a diverse graduate student body. Sponsored by La Casa and the Graduate Diversity Council.

LGSA Mass Meeting and Soda Pop Social
Tuesday, 12/1 from 6:45pm – 8pm at La Casa
Gamma Phi Omega has invited us to participate in a Soda Pop Social.
Jive into the 50’s with the “G” Birds and the Maroon Ladies while enjoying soda pop floats and diner food! Soda Pop Socials were popular in the 1950’s and Gamma Phi Omega would like to bring it back for our 2009 Fall Week of Events. We will bring together the IU campus community for a night of networking and free diner food. Wear your leather jackets and put on your poodle skirts as this should be a lot of fun!

Student Activities is forming a student committee that can program and support the campus and community's celebration. One such program option is called Write my Mind, and is a campus-wide initiative.
