Requirements:
A. Weekly readings and Site Scape Forum Reader Response and Discussion (30%)
B. Weekly entries in a writer's notebook (journal) (20%)
C. Team site writing group (15%)
D. Inquiry Project (35%)
A - 90% and above
B - 80%-89%
C - 70%-79%
D - 60-69%
F - below 60%
A - consistent, meaningful contributions to class discussion
B - consistent attendance, participation.
C - consistent attendance, little or no contribution to class discussion.
D/F - shows little effort, poor attendance.
Grade Scale
93% or above = A
90% to 92% = A-
87% to 89% = B+
83% to 86% = B
80% to 82% = B-
77% to 79% = C+
73% to 76% = C
70% to 72% = C-
below 70% = D
below 60% = F
Turning in Assignments
When you are finished with the final inquiry project, please post it to Oncourse, in the appropriate area (wlll be announced).
Please make sure that you have an antivirus program on your computer, and that you keep its virus definitions updated. IU students can get Norton Antivirus at a substantial discount. Incomplete Policy:
Our courses are designed to be highly interactive and to include regular dialogue between student and instructor and between students. Because of this, we need students to participate regularly, and to keep up with the course readings and assignments. If a student does not complete a course within a given semester, it is the student's responsibility to makearrangements with his/her instructor regarding how and on what timeline they will finish up the course. Students should not assume that they will automatically be granted an Incomplete grade at the end of the semester.
If a student has not completed the course requirements for the course by the end of the semester, the instructor will give the following grade that is most appropriate:
