• Think about how old stories you know begin. 여러분이 알고 있는 옛날 이야기들은 어떻게 시작합니까?

  Do they begin with a temporal and/or spatial setting, and then introduce a character Probably the protagonist [주인공]?

  어느 시골에 한석봉이라는 소년이 살고 있었습니다.

  옛날 옛날에 한 마을에 한석봉이라는 소년이 (살고) 있었습니다.
  한석봉은 가난하게 살았습니다.

• Compose a story, following the general structure of an old story:

  • Start with a temporal and/or spatial setting in introdcing the main character.
  • The introduction may be expanded with further description of the main character.
  • After the introduction, an event takes place. The break out of the event poses some kinds of problem for the main character. Describe the development of the event, driving the story up to a climax.
  • Finish the story with resolving the problem.

 

• 노인이 어떻게 석봉의 글씨를 칭찬했을까요?

  Recall someone who praised/gave a compliment to you and say how s/he praised you.

You may need to elaborate who was the person that praised you:
