MaryFrances McCourt

MaryFrances McCourt began as Treasurer of the University and Treasurer of the Trustees in October 2005. Before joining the staff of Indiana University, she was Assistant Treasurer for Agilysys, Inc., a $1.7 billion distributor and premier reseller of enterprise computer technology solutions headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. She has held various positions in strategic planning, financial analysis and treasury management with particular focus on operational efficiency, business planning (including acquisitions, divestitures and new business modeling), customer/ vendor and product line profitability analyses and balance sheet management. MaryFrances graduated with a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Case Western University.

Beth has responsibility for debt portfolio analysis and tracking, monitoring of bond proceeds and related construction fund investment accounts, debt payments, and accounting for other Treasury functions. She also provides financial analytical support for the entire Capital Finance group and manages numerous interest allocation processes, unclaimed property analysis, and data extraction report writing for the Capital Finance group. Beth holds a B.S. degree from the IU Kelley School of Business, and has been on staff in the Office of the Treasurer since 1990.
Amoret has primary responsibility for financial planning, modeling and analysis, specifically with respect to working capital and capital project financing. She serves as account manager with oversight responsibility for certain asset and liability accounts that are the responsibility of the Office of the Treasurer. She also oversees a portfolio of external agency agreements, and related administration and compliance. Amoret holds a B.S. degree from Yale University, an MBA degree from Columbia University, and is a CPA. She joined the staff in the Office of the Treasurer in April 2007.
Gail has primary responsibility for administering the process of bringing university bonds, commercial paper and other debt instruments to market. She also manages and ensures the reliability and accuracy of university debt information, debt schedules, and various forms of quantitative financial analysis with respect to university bond issues and other debt financing transactions. Gail holds B.S., M.S., and MBA degrees from Northern Illinois University and is a graduate of the Indiana University Fiscal Officers Development Series. She has been on staff in the Office of the Treasurer since 1993.
Stew has primary responsibility for the oversight of the Capital Finance division of the Treasurer’s Office, including the planning, structuring and issuing university bonds, commercial paper, and other debt obligations, general oversight of the University’s debt portfolio, financial policy development, and high-level financial analytical support for the Treasurer and VPCFO senior staff. He is also co-founder and co-director of the Tax Institute for Colleges & Universities. Stew holds a BS in Accounting from the IU Kelley School of Business, is a graduate of the CACUBO Management Institute, is a CPA, and has been on staff in the Office of the Treasurer since 1991.

Chad joined the Office of the Treasurer in September 2011 as the Payment System Security Analyst. In this role, he assists units and departments in evaluating and implementing secure electronic payment systems. He also evaluates and assesses existing payment security processes and recommends improvements. He earned a BS in Informatics from Indiana University, and prior to joining Treasury, Chad worked as a Lead Security Engineer in IU’s University Information Security Office.
Josh works as desktop support and system administrator for the Treasury department. His responsibilities also include webpage development, TIFCU support, and debt management systems support. Josh earned a B.S. in computer science and a B.A. in math both from Indiana University. He also holds MCSE/MCSA, A+, and network+ certifications.
Diane has been with the Office of the Treasurer since 1996. She started with Treasury Operations in 2000 as a part time employee, and moved into a full time position as Banking Security Coordinator in 2009. Diane's main function is security administration on the various banking and credit card systems, remote capture training and IUPayPlus set ups.
Kim joined the Office of the Treasurer in February 2003 as the Manager of e-Business Support. Kim’s primary responsibilities include Payment Card operations and e-Business support. Other responsibilities include assisting with daily cash management. Kim became a CTP in December 2004 and is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and the Treasury Management Association of Indiana (TMAI).

Kim has 9 years banking and 8 years investment experience at a major national financial institution. She held the position of Banking Center Manager with an officer title of Vice President, as well as served as an Investment Advisor. Kim’s responsibilities included the daily banking operations, insurance & securities client sales & advisement, in addition to client service/problem resolution.
David is a Manager in the Banking Support area for the Office of the Treasurer, Treasury Operations. He is presently involved with the cash management of university funds which includes fund transfers, cash forecasting, balance positioning, and short-term investing. David's other responsibilities include banking relations and payment card services. David holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the IU Kelley School of Business and he has been an administrative staff member of the Office of the Treasurer since 1985.
Ruth is the Director of Treasury Operations at Indiana University. During her 13 year banking career Ruth earned her BA in Economics from Indiana University completing her degree in 1998. She was hired in the IU Treasury department in 2002 as a Financial Manager and has served as the Assistant Director, Banking and later as the Associate Director of Treasury Operations before her promotion in 2009 to her current position. She earned the professional designations of Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) in Nov 2002 and Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) in Oct 2004. Ruth is a member of AFP, AFP-IN, and a frequent presenter at the annual NACHA conference.

She manages the University’s banking and payment systems; Directs PCI DSS administration, compliance, and policy enforcement; Oversees activity related to the university’s payment card acceptance programs; Administers bank and vendor relations, including RFI’s/RFP’s; Oversees Revenue Processing Reviews, training, and fraud prevention; and Serves as an internal consultant to departments for all Treasury questions and needs.
As a manager in Treasury Operations, Susan has primary responsibility for revenue processing including procedures, compliance and training. She is also involved with the daily cash management of university funds and works with payment card services. Susan holds a BS in accounting and an MBA, both from the IU Kelley School of Business. She has more than 15 years of university experience. Prior to joining Treasury in the beginning of 2009, she worked in Financial Management Services and in the Kelley School of Business.
Petra is responsible for the completion of Direct Deposit forms for various departments from all university campuses. She is the main contact for ordering banking supplies, deposit tickets and endorsement stamps. Petra is the back up Security Administrator on banking systems. Before joining the Treasury department in January 2010, Petra worked for several companies in the U.S. and Europe as administrative assistant/office manager.
Dennis W. Reedy Dennis W. Reedy currently serves as the Managing Director of Treasury Operations for the eight campuses, 99,000 student Indiana University systems. He has over 30 years experience in cash management, investments and bank relations. Mr. Reedy came to Indiana University in 1987 after spending 15 years as an officer of a major Indianapolis financial institution. His duties at this institution included serving as treasurer of the corporation's banking operations and treasurer/director of its insurance and securities brokerage subsidiaries. Reporting to Mr. Reedy at Indiana University are the cash and investment management operations, banking relations, credit card processing and e-business support.

Mr. Reedy is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and is a past president and current director of the Association for Financial Professionals - Indiana (AFP-IN). Mr. Reedy has been a faculty member for AFP and NACUBO and has served on many of their committees and task forces. He currently serves as a faculty member for the annual University of Kentucky/SACUBO College Business Management Institute (CBMI). Mr. Reedy has served as Co-Executive Director of The Treasury Institute for Higher Education since the Institute’s inception in April 2000. He served as an Associate Editor of the Sixth Edition of AFP's Essentials of Cash Management and served as a member of AFP Body of Knowledge Committee that provided a similar role for the 7th Edition of Essentials of Cash Management. Mr. Reedy also served as the co-author for the treasury management chapter of NACUBO's handbook for higher education business officers (CUBA, Sixth Edition).

Mr. Reedy holds a B.S. degree in accounting, with distinction, from Indiana University.
Tim is responsible for helping Indiana University departments achieve compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and revenue processing policies and procedures. He also assists with the daily cash management of university funds. Prior to joining the Treasurer's Office, Tim was Manager of Administration & Finance for the CampusAccess card program. He was also Collections Manager for a national student credit card issuer. Tim holds a B.S. in Business Management from Ball State University.
