Dr. Dennis is Professor of Information Systems and holds the John T. Chambers Chair of Internet Systems in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He received his Ph.D. in management information systems from the University of Arizona. He is currently the Publisher of MIS Quarterly Executive. Research interests include team collaboration, knowledge management, and the use of the Internet. |

Dr. Duffy is Professor of Learning Sciences and Cognitive Science and hold the Barbara Jacobs Chair of Education and Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University. Dr. Duffy received his Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Duffy's research focuses on the design of problem centered learning environments and the study of cognitive and motivational processes related to learning. |
| Barbara Bichelmeyer,
PhD Senior Research Associate |
Dr. Bichelmeyer is Associate Professor of Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University. She received her Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Kansas. Dr. Bichelmeyer's research explores the use of instructional design and technology to foster intentionality toward learning among students. |

C. Bunnage, PhD Project Manager |
Prior to becoming Project Manager, Dr. Bunnage was project associate with the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and held administrative positions at the University of Notre Dame, Oregon State University, and the University of Washington. Dr. Bunnage received her Ph.D. from Indiana University. She is currently researching factors that influence postsecondary participation. |

Hasan provides analytical, computer, and research support to this project. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University. He earned his M.S. degree in Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University. His research focuses on the relationships between instructional practices, student engagement and student achievement in various learning environments for technical training. |

Korkmaz, Research Assistant |
Ali provides database, analytical, computer, and technical support for this project. He is also a Ph.D. candidate in Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University. He earned his M.S. degree in Science Education from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey. Ali's research particularly focuses on the design and development of instructional environments and the evaluation of teaching and learning methods, strategies and practices. |

Emily provides daily service to more than 225 CCNA and comparison group instructors. She is a D.M. student in Brass Pedagogy and Literature in the School of Music at Indiana University. Emily is a French hornist and music scholar. Her academic focus includes Musicology and Arts Administration. |

Pfaffle, Survey Coordinator |
Liz provides daily service to more than 225 CCNA and comparison group instructors. She is also a lecturer in horn and a doctoral candidate in the School of Music at Indiana University. Liz serves as Coordinator of Brass and Percussion at Indiana University. In this role, she organizes and collates teaching schedules, instructs undergraduate brass students, performs in university ensembles, participates and organizes master classes, and assists faculty and students in the horn studio. |

Borders, Project Assistant |
Christy serves
as editor of the project newsletter, E-News, assists in collecting
information to be used on the project website, among other tasks.
Christy is a Master's student in the Instructional Systems Technology
program at Indiana University. She plans to begin doctoral studies this
fall. Her research focuses on ways to provide quality distance
education materials to students who have little or no access to
technology. She spent August, 2004 in Windhoek, Namibia working on a
project to address distance education student needs. |

Cruz, Project Assistant |
Nylmer has recently joined our Evaluation project team. She works as assistant to the Project Manager and provides support to the CCNA and comparison group instructors. Nylmer earned a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and plans to begin the MBA program in the School of Business at Indiana University. Prior to joining this project, she worked for five years as a Relationship Manager in Citibank's Global Corporate and Investment Bank in San Juan, Puerto Rico. |
