Become a trip leader

Membership

Dues are $10 per calendar year (for example, if you get your membership in December, it will be good until December of the following year). If you would like to become a member of the CCIU, it is best to bring $10 (checks payable to the Caving Club at Indiana) to the next CCIU meeting. You will also need to fill out a short information card and liability waiver. If you can't make it to the meeting or would like to join before the next meeting, contact Danyele Cotrell about joining. Trips will be posted on the web and trip leaders will be happy to answer any questions.

To subscribe to the CCIU LISTSERV mailing list, send an email to listserv@indiana.edu with "subscribe iusc-list" in the body of the email.

To unsubscribe from the CCIU LISTSERV mailing list, send and email to listserv@indiana.edu with "unsubscribe iusc-list" in the body of the email.

Note 1. You must send the unsubscribe request from the account for which you are subscribed at.
Note 2. The list name is iusc-list NOT iucc-list

Trip Leaders

Interested in becoming an CCIU trip leader? You must meet the following requirements:

1.) Must be an CCIU member, in good standing, for at least one year.
2.) Must successfully complete at least a National Cave Rescue Commission weekend seminar.
3.) Must win a majority vote of confidence from existing officers and trip leaders. In order to win this vote, you will need to arrange to co-lead a trip with one of the trip leaders.
