The information here explains the application process for obtaining funds. Take notice of details mentioned here in order to correctly apply for funding. Please note: Not all student groups will qualify for funding or 100% of their requested amounts. The IUSA Funding Board provides support to student groups at Indiana University - Bloomington by helping them obtain necessary funding in order to enhance their organization. Although not all groups will qualify for funding, the funding board provides guidance to pursue other avenues. Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings, and applications must be turned in by 5 p.m. on the Monday before each meeting.

The IUSA Funding Department directs groups throughout the application process, maintains a detailed ledger, counsels student groups during regular office hours, and manages the IUSA Funding Board.

Who Can Apply?

• A student organization must be listed with the Student Activities Office (IMU #371) and must have sent two representatives to the Student Organization Orientation.

How to Apply:

• Download an application and budget from this website
• Submit the application and budget according to the due dates, available in the office or online.
• Present your initiative, with event, cost, follow-up and other details, to the Funding Board and directors. The department will schedule your organization for a brief (5-10 min.) presentation discussing your initiative. Following, the Funding Board will have a chance to ask questions about your initiative.
• Your organization will be notified with the decision within 48 hours of your presentation.
• Meet with the Funding Board to review specifics of your grant and set follow-up procedures.
• Provide info required by follow-up procedures.
