Professional Experience

2002-Present Assistant Professor, Department of Language Education, Indiana University: Conduct weekly seminars for graduate and undergraduate students on current language issues in the field of English education. Collaborate with a high school English teacher and developed a field experience with the class. Observe pre-service teachers in the field.
2001-2002 Assistant Professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Continuing Education, University of Illinois at Chicago: Taught and developed Reading certification courses for Chicago Public School Teachers.Assistant Professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, University of Illinois at Chicago: Developed secondary literacy program; Taught and developed Secondary Reading courses; Advised master?s level students.
