    My work over the last ten years has focused on the use of technology to support the design of inquiry based learning environments as well as on the implications of constructivism and situated cognition for the design of instruction.

    Invited faculty at University of Utrecht to co-teach (8 hours a day) a Master Course for top PhD students in the Netherlands working in the area of constructivist theory and instructional design. April 1997.

    Kansas Health Foundation Visiting Scholar, Wichita State University, School of Nursing, January 1997.

    Co-Recipient of the Diana Award from the Association of Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Documentation (ACM SIGDOC). The award was presented for the excellence in achievement of the Carnegie Mellon University, Communication Design Center for its work from 1980 to 1990 in furthering the state of the art of technical communication. (I was director from 1983-1988).
