Research Areas

    My primary interests in teaching, research and service activities are related to learners' engagement, ownership and control of the learning process; the role of the affective domain in intelligence, learning, and instruction; the uses of technology to facilitate learners' emotional engagement, ownership and control of learning. Currently, I am engaged in research concerned with the relationships between learner ownership, learner engagement and learner emotions' in web-based learning environments.
