Overview |
Version 4.01 is a minor release of the IUIE application including a few functional enhancements and a few minor bug fixes. The most important enhancements include support for the future migration of Financial-Data Reporting (FDRS) to IUIE, and improved performance of the Manage My Catalog functions. These changes, and others, are summarized below.
The Financial Account View and PDQ Digest reporting functions have been added to IUIE to support the future migration of Financial-Data Reporting to IUIE.
The Manage My Catalog functions have been optimized, allowing you to create/delete/rename folders & shortcuts much more quickly.
Due to their lack of use, Keywords have been removed from the publishing menu (and, are therefore no longer required to copy an existing Report Object).
The mandatory checkbox option has been removed from Datagroup-Template fields (it was never actually implemented, and only served to cause confusion).
Indexed Report font-size and font-type may now be changed even when the Report Object has a status of Prod.
The Delete User function has been disabled.
- The following Netscape 4.79 compatibility bugs were squashed:
- Data Extract Barr print generated a blank screen in NScape 4.79, instead of the appropriate confirmation message.
- Data-Group Templates were generating a blanks screen in NS 4.79
- PDQ security link did not show security properly in NScape 4.79
- Indexed reports were not not showing the Report Object Title in NS 4.79.
- The E-Mail confirmation message sent for Scheduled PDQs and GTs now contain the same content.
- The Restricted Data Access Request section was removed from the User Registration Request page.
- Publishing: A bug was fixed in Publish->Key Info that updated all labels in the Master Catalog to the same value.
- Publishing: The Return button on the Assign Access to Groups Publishing Menu has been fixed to return tto the Test Publishing-Menu page for a Test Report Object.
- Publishing: Indexed Report display "custom" fields properly when the Report Object has a status of Prod.
