Why doesn't the 'save to disk' function work with Internet Explorer, version 5.5?

When the November upgrade of the IUIE was implemented, it was discovered that versions of Internet Explorer lower than 5.5 caused frequent browser crashes. We then advised that IUIE users upgrade their IE browsers to version 5.5. Subsequently, we have learned that the 'Save to Disk' function does not work properly with Internet Explorer version 5.5.

To save a report to disk, right click on 'save to disk' and choose 'Save Target As.' You will then receive the customary window allowing you the option to designate the name and location for saving the file.
