This fall, will be starting a 10 month long Dietetics Internship Program in Cincinnati, Ohio at The Christ Hospital. Afterwards, will take the Registration exam to become a Registered Dietitian.
I really enjoyed taking the Medicine, Magic and Mortality class. I also had a great time participating in the Bowl for Kids Sake my freshman year.

Moving to Washington, D.C. to work in consulting for ICF International. She will be working for a private company, but dealing with public policy in relation to energy efficiency.
I was involved with LAMP which is what steered me towards the HHC General notation. The combination of LAMP and the HHC courses allowed me to really explore a wide range of interesting subjects in the liberal arts (taught by some of the best faculty at IU), as well as take business courses in order to graduate with a transferable skill set.

Pursuing a PhD in marketing beginning in fall of 2009 at as-of-yet undetermined school. Between now & then will work for French government teaching English in France for a period of six to eight months.

The honors courses at Indiana University were some of the most interesting classes I took. They rounded out my education, and gave me a chance to study topics that were outside of my majors. I am now better prepared for my career because of my experience with the Hutton Honors College.

Pursuing a Ph.D. in Religious Studies at the University of Virginia to study religious environmental ethics.
The HHC generously provided grant money for me so that I could feasibly complete my honors thesis, as well as a senior thesis through the Sociology department. They also hosted numerous excellent programs, giving me the opportunity to meet with fascinating people including Nobel Prize-winning physicists and world-renowned philosophers.

I remember well Prof. Bondanella's course during my sophomore year entitled "Dante and His Times," in which we not only put the usually orphaned "Inferno" in the context of the complete Commedia, but also the Commedia in the historical, political, and cultural context of which Dante was a part. Having taken very few courses outside of the Jacobs School during my time here, H204 remains for me a delightful memory and a testament to the quality of teaching in the HHC.

I really enjoyed my meetings with my advisors. Nigel was a very good friend and I was sad to see him go. I would look forward to our meetings, as I would always amaze him with good grades and interesting course choices every semester.

The absolute best HHC experience was Hitler and Anne Frank: Studies in the Representations of Good and Evil with Dr. Alvin Rosenfeld. AMAZING -- I'd take it again in a heartbeat. Being an HHC mentor was also a fantastic experience; my mentee and I were a fantastic match :)

Living on the HRC in Forest for the first two years was one of the best decisions I made-- at least half of my good friends now are from that original group. I also enjoyed honors courses taught by Profs. Gubar and Cecil; they sparked my creativity and expanded my knowledge of Western culture and literature, taking me out of the Music School bubble for a few hours every week. Lastly, the HHC International Experiences Program generously awarded me a grant to study music in Paris for the summer of 2008. Thanks!

The Hutton Honors College has been a huge resource to me throughout my undergraduate career. Through funding opportunities and faculty resources, I was able to study abroad in the Dominican Republic, complete an Honors Thesis in Sociology, and present my research at the North Central Sociological Association Conference. Without the grants they make available to undergraduate students, I probably wouldn't have been able to take advantage of these opportunities not to mention the faculty that supported me in these endeavors.

While it is easy to be trapped within a single discipline, the lectures and activities organized by the HHC allowed me to break the bounds, which greatly enhancing my college experience. I also thank the HHC for supporting me with multiple research grants to further explore my own area of interest.
