"The most positive experience associated with the Hutton Honors College was receiving the Edward J. Hutton Honors Experience Grant to study abroad. With that grant, I was able to make studying in Madrid, Spain for an academic year a reality and not just a dream of mine!"

"The Hutton Honors College was instrumental in providing support, both advisory and moral, when I decided to change my major (three times). The counselors are all top notch and served as a good buffer between the three schools in question, and really helped me figure out what it was that I wanted out of my college experience."

"I loved the honors topic classes. They were always interesting and challenging. I especially enjoyed Ad Newseum taught by Mr. Gubar and the honors journalism classes. Also, I was very thankful for the overseas scholarship I received from the Honors College. Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I have ever made and the scholarship helped out a lot."

"When considering my experiences with the Honors College, the travel grants and the 'H' courses are the most prominent. The travel grants helped me spend a Spring Break working in a soup kitchen in Atlanta, and a summer studying aboard in London. I also had a great experiences in H211 Ancient Ideas and Experiences and H203 Machiavelli and Management. I was able to read and discuss books I wouldn't have encountered as a business major."

"I enjoyed the mass meeting for last year's International Experince Program grants. The Honors College had filled an entire 200-person-capacity lecture hall in Woodburn with kids that they were flying somewhere to do something cool. The College was clearly doing a lot to help out any of its students who were willing to do their part and find a place they wanted to go. The HHC is generous."
