Choir Event

Welcome! The UNAM (University of Namibia) Choir

Students and other members of the IU community had the opportunity to see the UNAM Choir perform a musical play. Afterwards, they were given a chance to meet the members of the choir and to speak informally with them about their country, their music, and their experiences traveling around the world.

Tour and Pizza Discussion Supper: Who is responsible for making sure your community's environment is safe?--a case study of PCBs in Bloomington.

Students toured the Illinois Central Springs treatment facility and learned about the processes used to remove PCBs from water. They then returned to Honors House for a discussion about the history of the PCB clean-up effort in Bloomington.

IU Auditorium Matinee: Les Misérables

During intermission of a matinee performance of Les Misérables, students gathered for refreshments in the director's lounge. Following the performance, students were given the opportunity to meet members of the cast and ask questions about their experiences with the show.
