 —  Mohrmann Discussion Lunch

Bioethics for Babies:
The Decisions Others Make for Them

Discussion Lunch with Biomedical Ethicist Margaret Mohrmann

April 17, 2009

Bioethicist Margaret Mohrmann was on campus as a guest of the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions to deliver the 2009 Matthew Vandivier Sims Memorial Lecture. The lectureship was established in 2002 to honor the memory of Matthew Vandivier Sims, who died in infancy. Mohrmann and Damon Sims, Matthew Sims' father, met with students to talk about the difficult decisions parents and caregivers have to face in determining treatment for those who can't decide for themselves. The lunch was co-sponsored by the Hutton Honors College and the Wells Scholars Program.
