Come and enjoy one of Bloomington's most dynamic cultural events! The
Bloomington Multicultural Expo will celebrate the diverse
populations in
Bloomington through four Cultural
Villages: Moon
Festival Village, Soul Food Festival Village, Festival Latino Village,
and International Village. Between music, dance, food, and cultural
outreach activities,
there will be something fun to do and plenty to explore for everyone.
Who was the first woman ever to hold the post of U.S. Secretary of
State? Who was the first African American female CEO of a Fortune 500
company? Women in Business and the Hutton Honors College will have a
booth
highlighting the achievements of influential women. Learn more about
environmental justice advocate Majora Carter, former U.S. Secretary of
State Madeline Albright, First Lady Michelle Obama, and many more.
There will be a drawing for prizes for those who can answer a series of
questions correctly. See if you are up for the challenge!
Shuttle service
will be provided leaving from McNutt to Bryan Park leaving every half hour.
