Evening at the Theater:

Urinetown the musical
Tues., Oct. 24, 2006 * SIGN-UP REQUIRED * Tickets: $11
7 p.m. Dessert and Intro at Honors House, 324 N. Jordan Ave.
7:30 p.m. performance at Wells-Metz Theatre, followed by a Curtain Talk

What would the future be like if water became such a scarce commodity that you were forced to pay a fee each time you used the restroom? What if a heartless corporation found a way to profit from such a situation and used it as a way to control the government? What if you and your family could not afford to pay the price? Would you tolerate it, or would you stand up and fight? Described as drawing inspiration "from sources as varied as Bertolt Brecht and South Park," this Tony Award-winning musical takes a pointed look at a commentary facing such a crisis and its fight to reestablish the "right" to use the restroom.

Join us for dessert at Honors House and a quick review with Richard Burke, an actor and emeritus professor of telecommunications who teaches for the HHC, followed by a performance of the show that was hailed by The New York Times as "hilarious" and "the most galvanizing theater experience in town."

You are also welcome to attend the curtain talk with a member of the production staff that will follow the performance.
