Being successful in a career takes more than education and motivation.
It takes good communication skills-- the ability to market your talents,
impress an audience, and motivate others. Peggy Klaus, a communication and
leadership consultant, has been training professionals in these skills for
more than ten years. She has led workshops for such companies and
organizations as JP Morgan Chase, Disney, Goldman Sachs, and UNICEF. In
addition to training staff and executives who are already experienced in
business, she provides instruction to students and rising professionals
through institutions of higher education and community outreach. She also
sits on the Women's Leadership Board at Harvard's Kennedy School of
Government. In 2004, she began a series of workshops geared towards
aspiring youth, in which they are paired with seasoned professionals to be
coached in the arts of networking and self promotion.
Join Peggy Klaus for an interactive discussion about how to make an
impact and have lasting success in the competitive world of work.
This supper is co-sponsored by the Hutton Honors College and the Wells
Scholar Program.
