Hutton Honors College
— Globalization and Culture Symposium
First Annual Globalization and Culture Symposium
Note: Students interested in participating in this symposium must sign up online by visiting the CASE Web site on or after Sept. 21. What is "globalization" really? How will globalization impact your future? Do those who live in developed countries have responsibilities to the rest of the world? You and other students in Indiana might have ready answers, but how would your peers in other parts of the world respond? During this one-day, on-campus symposium sponsored by the HHC and Conversations about Service and Engagement (CASE), participants will not only exchange views about globalization with each other but also speak with students elsewhere on the planet through interactive videoconference technology. Join us if you would like the chance to speak with students not only at Indiana University but also beyond about the meaning and implications of globalization in the 21st century. Space is limited so don't forget to sign-up for this program online by visiting www.indiana.edu/~global/case beginning Sept. 21. (The signup for this program is separate from the HHC sign-up process for other programs listed on this site.)
