Located in the heart of the Midwest, Bloomington is easy to get to by car or plane. After all, Indiana’s state motto is “The Crossroads of America.”
Driving
Use the Mapquest map below to get personalized directions for your drive. Before you hit the highway, check for road closings in Bloomington that may affect your route.
Parking
Complimentary parking for your visit will be on the upper level of the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage, just south of the Office of Admissions. Take a ticket as you enter the garage, and you can use the stairs in the northwest corner to walk to the Admissions building. When you check in at Admissions, we will give you a parking pass that will allow you to leave the garage free of charge—just give the attendant your ticket and pass.
Flying
Bloomington Shuttle Service (800-589-6004) and Star of America Shuttle Service (800-933-0097) offer round-trip transportation between Indianapolis International Airport and Bloomington seven days a week, several times a day.
The following limousine services also offer round-trip transportation between the airport and Bloomington:

Bus Travel
Bloomington Shuttle Service (800-589-6004) and Star of America Shuttle Service (800-933-0097) travel between several Bloomington locations and Indianapolis International Airport several times each day throughout the week.
Catch-A-Ride provides student only service on all key holidays, semester breaks, and select weekends from IU to Merrillville, IN and to Northbrook, Oakbrook, and Schaumburg, IL. Call 866-622-8242.
