For over 25 years, the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) has been a leader in forging interdisciplinary approaches to public management. Its public affairs graduate programs are consistently ranked among the top-three in the US and its Environmental Policy and Resource Management program also receives top ranking. Other SPEA programs ranked among the top-ten in the US include Information and Technology, Non-Profit Management, Public Finance and Budget, and Public Policy Analysis. SPEA has organized programs in more than 100 countries. To name a few, these include a parliamentary development project in Ukraine funded by the US Agency for International Development, undergraduate and graduate public affairs programs in Spain, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and elsewhere, tax reform in Russia, and environmental policy studies in Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Brazil.
