Custom Experiences
IU Outdoor Adventures offers custom experiences, allowing groups to design their own outing with the help of knowledgeable outdoor leaders. Groups can share experiences, enhance interpersonal relationships, learn leadership skills, and work toward accomplishing goals.
Custom experiences can range in length from a few hours to a few weeks – the possibilities are endless. IUOA’s Custom Experience Coordinator helps select appropriate activities for the group based on its goals. We work with groups including residence halls, fraternities, sororities, community non-profits, student organizations, and groups of friends to build exciting experiences.
Recent custom experiences include:
- Kayaking and caving in Southern Indiana
- Hiking in the Hoosier National Forest
- Canoe transports for large events
- Team-building initiatives in the outdoors
