This list has been retired. It was compiled prior to 1997 and too many links were broken for the list to be useful anymore. If you have been using this document, I am sorry to pull it out from under you, but the overall state of web design guidelines has improved since it was compiled so I hope you will find many helpful resources elsewhere.
