Szia! I'm Agi from Hungary and studying for a Ph.D. in Leisure Behavior. I'm interested in adventure education and organizational development, as well as leisure theory focusing on self-determination. I've been involved with HPER International for 2 years now, and it's been a lot of fun. My hobbies are the outdoors, cyclical and ball sports, playing the guitar, reading, and just hanging out with friends. I hope you'll join our club and share your experiences with us. |

Konnichiwa! I am Aiko Yoshino. I have been in Bloomington for four years. I am studying outdoor recreation & education. This is my second year for working with the HPER International Club. I miss a lot of things about my home country, Japan. Mountains, sushi, hot spring and my family... But, studying at IU, meeting new people who have different backgrounds, and adjusting to a different culture are quite worth it. Hope you will also enjoy this richness of the diverse community at IU! |

My name is Johanna Rydberg and I am a senior majoring in Exercise Science. I come from Stockholm , Sweden , to where I plan to return sometime after graduation. Adapting to a new country and a new culture can be difficult sometimes, but for me it was not very hard. I think the American lifestyle is very versatile and I feel like this country is pretty open to individuality and diversity, which is something I deeply appreciate. Although I like it here, I have my mind set on returning to my home country someday.
If you have any questions concerning studying as a HPER student here at IU, or if you have any questions about Sweden , feel free to contact me.
