Audio of a WFHB Planetary Caravan about Haiti:

On February 7, Cyndi Roberts hosted IU graduate students Solfils Telfort, David Tezil, and Kat Forgacs on a special Haiti-centered Planetary Caravan on community radio station WFHB. They spoke about the situation in Haiti since the earthquake and played songs representing various styles of Haitian music.

Haiti en Marche #52 - Vol XXIII (January 20, 2010), which was provided by Albert Valdman, the Director of the Creole Institute at IUB:
Haiti en Marche #52.pdf

Professor Valdman writes, “CLACS might want to relay this issue of Haiti en Marche, despite some of the gruesome photos.  The second lead article underscores my comments about the attitude of important segments of the French political establishment--and many people—about the leading role the US is playing and how the diversion of the DWB flight is being blown up in the French media.  It also backs up my view of the linguistic consequences of the disaster.”
