Exercises

Rather than one big term paper, the research and writing for this course will be spread out over four two-page assignments.  These will entail analysis of debates or candidate strategies, and integration of materials gleaned from the media and the Web.  They will be posted no later than two weeks before they are due as listed in the class schedule.

The most important thing doing the exercises is to (a) follow the assignment, (b) write carefully and revise your work, (c) document with foot or endnotes your sources.

Below are listed six assignments. You only need to do four of them.  Which four is up to you.
