Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Equality (SAGE)

SAGESexual Orientation and Gender Identity Equality (SAGE) is a student organization devoted to advocating for equal rights inclusive of sexual orientation and gender identity.  We couple campus education with partnerships on state and national campaigns against discrimination to provide IU students a chance to impact the direction of the ongoing struggle for equal rights.

General member meetings occur twice a month and include a rundown of upcoming group events as well as an in-depth roundtable discussion on a specific topic (previous topics have included the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, marriage equality around the U.S., etc).

SAGE recognizes that movements for social justice are interconnected. We strive to build meaningful alliances with other campus and community groups.  (IU registered Student group)
