Student Advisory Committee
The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is an elected group of graduate and undergraduate students that serves as a liason between students at large and the Department Chair. They meet regularly with the Chairperson to raise issues of concern to students. The SAC meets with the Department's Advisory Board during its annual meeting in Bloomington, presenting the Board with concerns and accomplishments that the committee members feel should be brought to the Board's attention. Students in Geological Sciences are encouraged to bring up any topics with Committee members. (See also Sigma Gamma Epsilon.)
