Certificate in Atmospheric Science

We are delighted to announce the launch of a new certificate in atmospheric science that is available to all new and existing undergraduates on the IUB campus.

The requirements are as follows:

  1. Major in a Department other than Geography (BS and BA degrees in Geography have a transcriptable concentration in Atmospheric Science)
  2. A minimum of 24 credit hours in Atmospheric Science courses
    1. Foundation courses (all 3 required): G109, G250, G304
    2. Remaining 5 courses can be selected from a range of atmospheric science courses taught in GEOG, PHYS, SPEA (see Bulletin for approved courses)
  3. A C or better in all certificate courses
  4. A GPA of > 2.7 in the certificate courses
