- Archives of Traditional Music (ATM): The ATM is one of the largest university-based ethnographic sound archives in the United States with holdings that cover a wide range of cultural and geographical areas, verbal and musical arts, and audio-visual recording formats.
IU Liberian Collections is a part of the ATM and enhances the ATM’s rich holdings of audio and videotaped recordings of Liberian music and dance. Find them on Facebook here. Visit their YouTube channel.

Archives of African American Music and Culture (AAAMC): The AAAMC is devoted to collecting and disseminating primary and secondary source materials on African-American music and culture.

Folklore Archives: The Folklore Archives is an extensive holding of documents and collections, mostly in paper formats, centered on traditional expressive forms and belief systems, worldwide in scope but with an emphasis on the US Midwest and the state of Indiana.
- Warren E. Roberts Museum of Early Indiana Life: A website and virtual museum, constructed in homage to the late Warren E. Roberts (1924-1999).

- JFR:
The Journal of Folklore Research is a publication of the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology at Indiana University. Edited currently by Jason Baird Jackson, JFR provides an international forum for research of the world's traditional creative and expressive forms. Since July 2002, JFR has been published and distributed by Indiana University Press.
- JFRR:
The JFR Reviews offers timely and concise reviews of recent works (including books, museum exhibits, scholarly websites, DVD and CR-ROM productions, and video and film documentaries) relevant to the discipline of folkloristics. Edited by John McDowell with William Hansen and Kate Schramm.
- Trickster Press:
Trickster Press is a student-led, not-for-profit folklore publishing house of the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology.
- Folklore Forum:
Folklore Forum is a journal published by Trickster Press. It encourages the free-flowing exchange of research and ideas on all aspects of folklore and ethnomusicology.
