Time for Tennis

This is awesome!
I am driving to IU Southeast at 5 a.m. looking for the tennis team so we can depart for Dayton, Ohio, to go on my first college tournament.
Coach Fulton told me that we were all meeting at Knobview Hall. I thought we were all meeting at the front of the building. Little did I know that the entire team was ready to go at the additional parking area behind Knobview Hall. The people in the van included Tommy (the new player), Jordan (the hard hitter), Josh (the lobber/country boy), Zack (the pusher), Bob (coffee boy), and then me ( I don't know where I fit in the tennis team yet). We were all extremely tired, except for our coach, who was wired on coffee. All the rest of us were trying to fall asleep to his rock music.
When we finally got to Wright State, we assumed that we were going to start the tournament because we were scheduled to start playing at 10. Little did we know that this tournament was going to be very disorganized, leaving us to play at noon. Josh and Jordan ended up winning the doubles backdraw of the tournament.
On our last day in Dayton, the Vincennes and IU Southeast tennis teams went out to eat together at Chili's Bar & Grill. The player sitting right across from me was named José. Josh told me he was from Venezuela, but I was a little skeptical. I asked him a few questions to prove himself to me—and it was true. Not only was it true, but I used to train for tennis on the court right next to him. Life is crazy and you have to expect the unexpected.
I love the guys on my team. I can say that my first tournament, although it was the last one of the season due to ankle injuries, was a blast. I can't wait until the spring season when we get to live it up again.
