Anchor Site

Anchor Reef

Anchor Reef is located few hunderd feet offshore Club Dominicus, La Romana. The anchor is a sixteenth century style anchor currently resting at about a 45 degree angle on the crest of the reef with a crown burried in the sand. Encrusted with coral and sponges, the anchor needs to be monitored, to make sure that it does sink deeper into the sand. Click here to see a scaled drawing of the Anchor reef site.
