Professional Interests My two primary areas of professional interest are adult neurogenic communication disorders (aphasia, degenerative neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury) and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). I am also interested in clinical supervision of graduate students and serve as Director of the Speech-Language Clinic. I teach the graduate course in dysphagia during Summer Session II, co-teach Professional Issues, a topic based course for final semester graduate students in the Fall and selected lectures in Clinical Practice and Procedures, a topic based course for first semester graduate students also taught in the Fall. I enjoy supervision of graduate students in individual treatment as well as the Aphasia Support Group, Brain Injury Support Group and Partners Creative Arts Program for people with memory loss.
