What is IU Dancesport?
IU Dancesport is a competitive ballroom dance team comprised of student ballroom dancers and enthusiasts who participate in collegiate competitions around the Midwest Region. In order to join the team, each member must be a full-time student at Indiana University. No prior dance experience or dance partner is necessary for any member.
Why join IU Dancesport?
The IU Dancesport team provides the opportunity for student athletes to further their appreciation of ballroom dance by competing on a collegiate level with peers who share their level of excitement and interest in the sport. The team offers its members a chance to accelerate their learning through the help of professional coaches and peers, as well as the social aspect of being part of a team.
