Getting to Bloomington

Arriving by car:

NORTH
Travel south on S.R. 37 until you reach the exit for S.R. 45 N/S.R. 46 E. There are signs for Assembly Hall/Memorial Stadium. Exit here and proceed eastward to College Avenue (there is a Denny's restaurant on the corner). Turn right onto College Avenue (this is a one-way street heading south toward downtown Bloomington) and proceed south to 7th Street. Turn left onto 7th Street (heading east). Follow 7th Street onto the IU campus. You will pass the Indiana Memorial Union on your right. Proceed to the circle drive entrance located on your right just past Ernie Pyle Hall, School of Journalism. Public parking is available off the circle drive and across the street from Ernie Pyle Hall.

SOUTH
Travel north on S.R. 37 until you reach the exit for S.R. 45 N/S.R. 46 E. There are signs for Assembly Hall/Memorial Stadium. EAST
Take S.R. 46 West. Follow this west until you reach the S.R. 45/46 Bypass. S.R. 46 will turn into Bloomington's 3rd Street. College Mall will be on your left. Continue on 3rd Street onto the IU campus. Turn right onto Indiana Avenue. Proceed north to 7th Street. Turn right onto 7th Street. You will pass the Indiana Memorial Union on your right. Proceed to the circle drive entrance located on your right just past Ernie Pyle Hall, School of Journalism. Public parking is available off the circle drive and across the street from Ernie Pyle Hall.

WEST
Take S.R. 46 East, passing through Spencer and Ellettsville. Just after the exit for S.R. 37, you will come into Bloomington. Proceed eastward on Route 46 to College Avenue (there is a Denny's restaurant on the corner). Turn right onto College Avenue (this is a one-way street heading south toward downtown Bloomington) and proceed south to 7th Street. Turn left onto 7th Street (heading east). Follow 7th Street onto the IU campus. You will pass the Indiana Memorial Union on your right. Proceed to the circle drive entrance located on your right just past Ernie Pyle Hall, School of Journalism. Public parking is available off the circle drive and across the street from Ernie Pyle Hall.

The Indianapolis International Airport is located approximately 45 minutes north of Bloomington. Shuttle service and car rentals are available.
