Do any of these describe you?

  • You really like working with computing technologies, and love helping others use them?
  • You are passionate about helping others integrate technologies into their classrooms in a way to really help students learn?
  • You are a pre-service or currently practicing teacher, and would like to expand your career opportunities?

If any or all of these describe you, then the Computer Educator (CEL) add-on license might be for you. This site - while just an introduction - exists to overview and introduce two different ways that you - as either an undergraduate in a teacher education program or as a practicing K-12 teacher - can pursue a license to allow you to do the following:

  • Serve as a technology leader and/or facilitator in a local school or district/corporation
  • Be a technology integration resource to your peers and school
