Career Resource Library

The Career Resource Library has over 1,000 books and is the most comprehensive career library available to IU students. Staff are available to help you locate and use our materials. We have information on college majors, career fields, internships, jobs, and graduate programs, as well as internship and job listings. Our materials cannot be checked out, but you can make copies for 10 cents per page.

The library is inside the Career Development Center, 625 N. Jordan Ave. at the northwest corner of 10th and Jordan. Library hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Who can use the library?

The library's print and electronic resources, Internet access, and job vacancy listings are open to all IU students and alumni as well as members of the Bloomington community.

Can materials be checked out?

Our materials cannot be checked out, but you can make copies for 10 cents per page. Be sure to bring paper and a pencil so you can take notes.

What is the web link library?

The web link library is a compilation of links to help students research career fields, professional associations, internships, and job openings. The links are categorized by specific career interest, national and international geographic region, and we've included lists of meta-sites and summer jobs.

Do you have computers?

Yes. We have 10 computers in the Technology Center. You can use them for research or to access our MyPlan self-assessment software.
