Courses
The Career Development Center offers a variety of courses geared toward the career development process, professional development, and receiving credit for internships. Our current course offerings include:
- Q294 (Basic Career Development) is designed for first- and second-year students who are choosing a major or exploring career fields.
- Q275 (Professional Portfolio Development) teaches students how to create a professional portfolio and market their skills.
- Q299 (Job & Internship Search Strategies for Liberal Arts Students) covers the fundamentals of the job search, including resumes, cover letters, and interviews.
- Q377 (The Art of Meaningful Work) challenges students holistically (intellectually, emotionally, morally, and spiritually) in their quest to explore their deepest life purpose as related to careers and work.
- Q398 (Internship: Theory into Practice) allows students to receive credit for academic work related to their internship.
- W499 does not provide credit but allows students to retain full-time student status through the Registrar while completing an internship or work-experience.
