Completed Projects

During the academic year 2008-09, CAGS finished two research projects started in the 2007-08 academic year through the publication of two books:

• The research project on the experiences of India with counterinsurgency was published as India and Counterinsurgency: Lessons Learned (S. Ganguly and D. P. Fidler, eds.)(London: Routledge, 2009). • The research project on providing guidance to legal professionals on responding to national security letters issued by the federal government was published as D. P. Fidler and S. J. Hughes, Responding to National Security Letters: A Practical Guide for Legal Counsel (Chicago: American Bar Association, 2009).
