Entrepreneurship Initiative Travel Grants NBER The NBER Working Group on Entrepreneurship meets twice each year, spring and fall, to present and discuss research in the field. We are seeking scholars at the graduate and pre-doctoral level who are interested in the growing field of entrepreneurship research. The travel grants will pay the travel expenses (up to a total of $1,000) for successful candidates to attend the two meetings of the NBER's Working Group on Entrepreneurship to be held at the NBER's offices in Cambridge, MA. 2008 Pre-Dissertation Summer Grant The European Union Center of Excellence at Indiana University The purpose of the grant is to support research-related travel for preliminary dissertation field activities such as exploring potential research sites, archives, and other research resources; establishing institutional affiliations; and identifying and meeting with local scholars, archivists and professional contacts. Policy-Connect Collaborative Research Grants IREX The Policy-Connect Program provides fellowships to US scholars and professionals for overseas research on contemporary political, economic, historical, or cultural developments relevant to US foreign policy. Fellowships support collaborative teams of two or three US scholars and professionals for up to 12 months. Upon completion of the project, scholars will be requested to present their research findings at a Policy Forum at the US Department of State and to write a short policy paper. April
