As a full-time professional, Peri is the Assistant Director for the Bureau of Aging and In-Home Services (BAIHS) for the State of Indiana. In this role, she directs all activities for the Development and Outreach Unit. Prior to her current position with BAIHS, Peri was the Program Director for the Adaptive Technology Lab with Blind and Visually Impaired Services for the State of Indiana for five years. Prior to working for the State, Peri was the Chief Consultant for Innovative Consulting, Inc., a career counseling corporation and worked as a Case Manager for Noble of Indiana for 10 years.

Part-time, Peri splits her career between being an Air Force Reserve First Sergeant and an Associate Professor of American Sign Language for Indiana University.

Peri graduated with her Master’s of Science degree in Management (with a concentration in Marketing) from Oakland City University and her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, majoring in Sociology and Behavioral Science. She also obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Vincennes University in American Sign Language and two Associate of Applied Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Education and Instructional Technology and Human Resource Management.

Peri lives in a log home in Martinsville, Indiana with her two best friends and two Yorkshire terriers, Sonny and Jack.
