- Warm clothing (Most Asian countries are warmer than Indiana)
Suggested paraphernalia
- A international telephone calling card. The international carrier
from your home country should have these for sale.
- Medicine: You might not be able to find the medicine you usually
buy at home in Bloomington.
- Photocopies of your travel documents. Make copies of your passport
photo page, airline ticket, and itinerary. make sure you pack one copy with
you in a place separate from where you carry your valuables. Leave one set
with a family member or friend.

GETTING TO BLOOMINGTON
TRANSPORTATION FROM INDIANAPOLIS AIRPORT
Shuttle service or limousine are the best choices to get to Bloomington as Taxi
fares are much higher. If you are arriving with parents, limousine is the best
choice. Prior to choosing the transportation, do contact your Asian Organization
to see if they have pick-up arrangements on campus.

Taking the limousine drops you off at the IMU in the middle of campus. If you
do not have friends to pick you up, you can call a taxi cab.

Limousine services picks you up from the airport even if your plane is late if
you tell them your flight number.
Fare: $ 40 per person. Ask
them for "RIDESHARE FARE" to share with other people to get a cheaper
fare.
Temporary Accomodation
The university provides temporary accommodation for students at EIGENMANN HALL, the only Dorm that opens during
summer except this summer for it is renovating.
Cost: $25/night.
